£65,000-£75,000 + performance incentives
There's a version of this job where the best part of your week is spent waiting on head office to sign off a decision you could have made before lunch. This isn't that one.
This is an independently owned nursing home where the people you answer to actually know the building, the residents and the team by name. Hands-on owners, genuinely invested. No region to report into, no nine-layer approval chain, no playbook written by someone who's never met your residents.
What that means for you: you run the home. Properly. Clinical standards, governance, culture, all of it. You'll have backing when you want it and the room to lead when you don't. For the right clinician, that is the whole point.
The work is real. Complex nursing care, including palliative and end-of-life support done the way it should be done. You'll step into modern digital systems (electronic care planning, eMAR, online training) and a service that wants to be excellent, not merely compliant.

The non-negotiables
Registered Home Manager experience within a nursing home setting
A clinical registration behind you (RGN or RMN)
A track record in a service rated Good or better, and the standards to keep it there
The confidence to lead autonomously. This home wants an owner, not a caretaker.The package
£65,000-£75,000 depending on experience
