Key Responsibilities
Assist veterinarians in conducting thorough physical examinations and medical procedures, utilizing your expertise in animal care and medical knowledge.
Collaborate with receptionists to ensure clear client communication and provide education on pet health, treatment plans and preventive care recommendations.
Recognize subtle signs of stress, anxiety and aggression in patients and utilize behavioral modification techniques to manage and reduce stress.
Execute treatments as prescribed by veterinarians, proficiently collect and process various samples (blood, urine, feces and ensure accurate analysis and documentation.
Uphold strict standards of cleanliness and safety within the hospital, contributing to a healthy environment that supports patient care and client satisfaction.
Requirements
Physical Capability: Ability to lift up to 50#, maintain flexibility to bend and kneel throughout the day and stand for extended periods during patient care and procedure assistance.
Professional Attributes: Demonstrates accountability, punctuality and maintains a positive, can-do attitude essential to supporting your teammates in delivering high-quality care.
