Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
" Perform in an organized and timely manner
" Perform Cell Culture of Primary Cells and complete various Cell-Based Assays independently
" Perform high-throughput sample testing in an organized and timely manner
" Maintain excellent aseptic technique and ensure sterility/quality of cell culture and assay outcomes
" Work safely within BSL-2 laboratory environment
" Maintain electronic laboratory notebooks, prepare precise technical report summaries, any necessary analysis, and maintain appropriate documentation
" Basic Laboratory management, multitasking, and experimental troubleshooting
Minimum Background and Experience:
" Educational background: PhD Student in a scientific discipline with emphasis in molecular and cell biology, immunology, or related disciplines.
" Training and experience with Cell Culture (Primary Cells isolation, Mammalian Cell Culture, flow cytometry, RNAi, etc) is a must-have
" Working knowledge of and/or skills in the cell biology field (pipetting, aseptic technique, preparing media, cell-based assay work, etc.)
" Excellent attention to detail
" Comfort working within a fast-paced lab environment
" Ability to perform basic dilution and stoichiometric calculations
" Ability to work independently with ambiguity and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
" Attention to detail and good oral and written communication skills required
