Responsibilities:
Independently conduct experiments that further project goals. This includes RNA sequencing from initial QC to data generation and completing samples through the Olink workflow.
Interpret results to evaluate data quality.
Demonstrate technical proficiency in the assigned workflows.
Understand and adhere to safety regulations and lab practices.
Accurately document work is performed and prepare reports when required.
Perform troubleshooting for routine work and alert manager to any inconsistencies or errors or needed consultation.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in scientific field or equivalent education with 5 years of experience.
Experience performing NGS library preparation is highly preferred.
Experience in performing Olink processing is highly preferred.
Experience performing NGS on the Illumina sequencing platform.
Experience using liquid handlers is preferred (including Formulatrix, Beckman, SPTLabtech and Eppendorf).
Experience using LIMS is beneficial.
Theoretical and practical knowledge to carry out job function.
Excellent documentation and communication skills.
Works well in a multidisciplinary team environment.
