Job Description:
Responsibilities And Expectations:
- ISEB / ISTQB qualification in Software Testing to practitioner level or equivalent qualifications or experience.
- Proficiency in implementing and executing testing strategies, plans, methodologies and frameworks in support of Agile development
- Experience of using test management/ Version Control tools (Azure DevOps/ TFS/ Git) and extensive experience writing test cases in Gherkin.
- Experience in writing Complex SQL queries for Creating and Maintenance of test data to support automation testing and Business users
- Proficiency in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, XML,
- Knowledge of programming language e.g. Ruby, Java OR Python
- Experience working in Window and Linux environment
- Experience in reviewing metrics to identify areas for process optimization, Conduct dry run/smoke testing to ensure scripts readiness and Execute automation scripts.
- Gather requirements from the Business Analyst to understand the project, analyze requirements, identify gaps in the requirements, skill sets required and provide LOE.
- Provide Test Scenarios/ Cases walkthrough and seek customer sign off inclusive of Prioritization of Test cases, Optimization options.
- A thorough understanding of risk-based testing.
- Test the defect and update the status, conduct root cause analysis of the defects logged and assist developers in recreating bugs.
- The ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues at all levels in both verbal and written communications.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal and verbal communication skills are necessary due to the dynamic nature of collaborations with engineering teams and solving complex system problems together.
