Job Description:
- Drive end to end software quality from design through validation and release, identifying risks early and ensuring strong functional, integration, system, and regression coverage.
- Design, build, and maintain automated test suites for APIs, services, and end to end workflows; expand automation to reduce manual testing and improve release confidence.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and actively monitor results.
- Partner closely with developers to improve testability, coverage, and defect prevention; collaborate with product and program teams to validate real world use cases and edge scenarios.
- Investigate test failures and production issues, identify root causes, and work with engineering teams to drive fixes and prevent regressions.
- Continuously improve test frameworks, tools, and quality processes; contribute to retrospectives and grow expertise in automation, systems testing, and modern development practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with automation testing frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, or similar tools.
- Experience testing APIs, services, or system-level software
- Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Experience building or extending test automation frameworks
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing in build systems
- Exposure to performance, reliability, or scalability testing
- Prior experience collaborating closely with development teams in fast-paced environments
- Strong programming or scripting skills in languages such as Python, Java, C++, or similar
Academic Credentials:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
