Substance Misuse Nurse
Belmont recruitment are looking for experienced Substance Misuse Nurses to join a reputable priavte charity in Sheffield on contract basis.
The role will have you working alongside admin, recovery workers, medical staff, and volunteers internally and have external connections with GP’s, and probation as well as primary and secondary healthcare services.
Your day-to-day duties will consist of holding a caseload of service users and offer them a range of interventions to aid their needs and support their treatment and journey of recovery, you will also provide them with BBV’s, wound care, vital signs, phlebotomy, and ECG’s. Furthermore, you will carry out alcohol and drug detox supported by a specialist recovery nurse using the appropriate AUDIT and withdrawal scales following all legislations and laws in a safe manner.
– Enhanced DBS required.
– Hourly rate between £24-£30 p/h (dependent on experience)
– Monday to Friday, 9-5, 37.5 hours p/w.
