We defend all aspects of workers’ compensation claims for employers, insurance carriers, third-party administrators, and municipalities. What will your day look like here?
- Handle all phases of defense in workers’ compensation matters — from intake and investigation, through discovery, depositions, trials, settlement negotiations.
- Represent clients in cases involving Labor Code § 132a, serious & willful misconduct allegations, etc.
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other court documents with precision.
- Work closely with clients (employers, carriers, administrators, municipalities) to counsel them on risk, strategy, and liability.
- Liaise with medical experts, investigators, adjusters, and court personnel.
- Stay up-to-date on changes in California workers’ compensation law and practice.
