What You'll Do:
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be a key contributor to our team, focusing on the rigorous testing and validation of high-quality power electronics hardware. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the reliability and performance of our systems, from design review to root cause analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Possess a strong understanding of power electronics topologies and control.
- Conduct thorough reviews of schematics, PCB designs, calculations, and simulations of power electronics converters.
- Lead and execute verification and validation tests for power electronics systems, ensuring compliance with industry requirements and safety standards.
- Apply strong hands-on and troubleshooting skills in the testing and verification of power electronics systems, proficiently using a range of lab equipment including battery simulators, power supplies, electronic loads, and oscilloscopes.
- Demonstrate the capability to perform root-cause analysis of power electronics systems and independently drive relevant R&D activities.
- Utilize strong technical writing and communication skills to convey complex technical concepts clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
What You'll Bring:
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of overall experience in the field.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on and troubleshooting experience in testing and verification of power electronics systems.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with strong technical writing and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly.
- Strong understanding of power electronics topologies and control.
Preferred Qualifications:
- M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in power electronics development and testing.
- Solid understanding of power electronics fundamentals.
- Knowledge of automotive requirements and standards.
