- Role: Veterinary Technician
- Status: Full-time
- Salary: Negotiable and based on experience
- Schedule: 4 days a week and every other Saturday

Are you passionate about patient care and looking to grow in a supportive and fast-paced environment? Animal Hospital of Gordon County is seeking a motivated, experienced Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant to join our well-established, multi-doctor practice. If you thrive in a team-oriented setting and love helping pets and people, we’d love to hear from you!
What You’ll Do:
In this role, you'll be an essential part of our medical team, helping provide top-quality care to our patients and support to their owners. Responsibilities include:
- Handling and restraining dogs and cats for exams and procedures
- Assisting veterinarians with blood draws, surgical procedures, and radiographs
- Walking dogs and cleaning kennels
- Maintaining a clean and organized hospital environment
- Educating clients on pet care and answering questions
- Taking phone calls and supporting front desk needs as necessary
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous veterinary experience is required
- LVT certification or A.S. in Veterinary Technology is a plus (but not required)
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
- A love for animals and a team-focused attitude
