Del Norte Animal Hospital is looking for a Veterinary Technician to join our team in providing exceptional patient care! In this role, you'll work closely with your team to ensure smooth appointments and procedures. This opening is ideal for detail-oriented individuals who enjoy engaging with clients and maintaining an organized workflow in a fast-paced environment. This is position can be Full or Part-Time, with availability needed Monday-Friday & rotating Saturdays.
Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians and other technicians during exams, treatments, and surgical procedures.
- Safely restrain animals and provide compassionate handling.
- Prepare and maintain exam rooms, surgical suites, and equipment.
- Administer medications and perform basic laboratory tests.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Maintain accurate medical records and uphold hospital standards.
Full-Time Benefits and Compensation **
- Compensation: $16-$22 per hour, for each hour worked*
- Bonus Package: $500 for those with 3+ years of consecutive, current VA experience
