Job Description:
The School of Natural and Mathematical Sciences invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor in Chemistry with a focus on teaching freshman nursing chemistry (general, organic, and biochemistry) and general science courses.
Primary Responsibilities:
Teach nursing chemistry lecture and laboratory courses
Teach general science and non-majors’ chemistry courses
Participate in departmental and school-wide activities, including:
Department meetings
Colloquium
Other academic and service-related events
Requirements
Ph.D. in Chemistry or a closely related field (required)
Experience teaching in higher education is preferred, but not required

The annual salary range for this role is $68,000 – $70,000
