Adult Clinical Lead

Adult Clinical Lead – Community Complex Care – Up to £45,000 – South East London

Are you an experienced ICU/ITU nurse or a nurse with a background in community complex care? We’re hiring for an exciting new role as an Adult Clinical Lead with a leading complex care provider, delivering high-quality, person-centred packages to clients across the Kent area.

This role is ideal for a Registered Nurse looking to move away from the hospital setting into a more autonomous, community-based position—while still using your advanced clinical skills in a meaningful way. As the Adult Clinical Lead, you’ll play a hands-on role in managing care delivery, supporting staff, and ensuring the highest clinical standards for adults with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out in-person assessments, reviews, and support visits to clients in their homes

Design and review care plans that reflect each individual’s needs and clinical requirements

Deliver clinical training to care teams, with a focus on tracheostomy and ventilator care

Act as the key point of contact for families, professionals, and the wider multidisciplinary team

Monitor care quality and support compliance with CCG requirements

Investigate any clinical concerns and provide clear, timely reporting

About You:

Registered Nurse (RGN) with an active NMC PIN

Background in either ICU/ITU nursing OR community-based complex care

Confident in managing tracheostomy and ventilated patients (recent experience essential)

Passionate about supporting and developing frontline staff

Excellent communication and clinical decision-making skills

A full UK driving licence is preferred (not mandatory)

What’s on Offer:

Salary up to £45,000 depending on experience

Monday–Friday working hours (9am–5pm) – no weekends or nights

Hybrid working: 3 days in the field / 2 days from home

33 days annual leave

45p per mile travel reimbursement

Laptop and phone provided

Private pension scheme

Strong commitment to your training and career development

This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced ICU or ITU nurse—or someone with a background in community complex care—to step into a well-supported leadership role. As an Adult Clinical Lead, you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact in people’s lives, working for a respected and expanding care provider.
