The candidate will support ongoing activities of external Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells (PBMC) processing laboratories which support our clinical trials. Activities include inventory, shipping materials and reagents to and from partner labs, and reviewing clinical sample documentation. The candidate will interact with members of Sample Management, Data Acquisition, and Data Management to ensure timely delivery of quality PBMC samples for clinical testing. The candidate will consult with other members of the team to prioritize these activities. Your ability to plan will help in preparing short-term work activities on projects. Your creativity in developing Client processes and new ideas will be used frequently.

Role Responsibilities

Exercise and build basic team effectiveness skills {e.g., commitment, feedback, consensus management} within the immediate work group.

Perform job responsibilities in compliance with current Good Manufacturing

Practices/ Good Laboratory Practice (cGMP/GLP) and all other regulatory agency requirements.

Supervise all PBMC lab supply inventory and ship materials and reagents to/from labs throughout the U.S.

Become technically proficient on methods related to PBMC isolation and management of external laboratories.

Review processing forms and sample inventory files from 30+ external laboratories and ensure all labs are supplied with all necessary consumables and reagents.

Comply with all safety training and good laboratory practices.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree

1+ years of pharmaceutical and biotech drug discovery experience.

Background in basic science and lab work. Experience with BSL-2 cell culture, sterile technique, pipetting, centrifugation, and cell counting.

Ability to use appropriate software to perform analysis of data.

Excellent organization and planning skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment independently or as part of a team, strong motivation with a dedicated work ethic.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. ( very important) Be able to communicate with others, ask the right questions and communicate accordingly. People person position

Preferred Qualifications (would plus)

Technical expertise in PBMC isolation and supporting clinical trial activities.

Experience in lab management and clinical trial monitoring.

CRO and vendor oversight experience preferred.


BS with 1+ pharma

MS degree that would also be acceptable without the industry exp.

Must= Background in basic science and lab work

Experience with BSL-2 cell culture, sterile technique, pipetting, centrifugation, and cell counting.

Systems: MS excel, PP, outlook,

Must be able to collaborate with other colleagues on the team,. will be trained but then expected to work independently.

Colleague must meet Vaccine Research Medical Surveillance or sign waiver
