Job Title: Lab Assistant / Specimen Processor
Location: Irving, TX
Duration: 6 Months (Possible Extension/ Temp to Fulltime)
Available Shifts: 1st shift, 10am-6:30pm (Central), Tuesday- Saturday / 2nd shift, (1pm -9:30pm Central), Tuesday- Saturday / Sunday – Thursday 4 am- 12:30 pm CST
Summary:
The SPT supports specimen processing operations including data entry, sorting, delivery, imaging, centrifugation, and aliquoting. Accuracy, speed, and adaptability are key. The role involves working in a biohazard environment and meeting productivity standards in a fast-paced setting.
Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- Skills: Basic computer knowledge;
- Experience: No prior experience required; lab or medical background preferred
- Other: Must be flexible with schedule (weekends, holidays, overtime as needed)
Additional Job Details: Sample prep, loading /unloading samples from the instrument, store samples, help with pending. Able to stand for long period of time.
