Our Client, a Paint Manufacturing company, is looking for a Lab Technician for their Garland, TX location.
Responsibilities:
- Cleans, maintains and calibrates standard equipment and maintains a clean and safe working environment.
- Completes appropriate forms and documentation regarding tasks and requests; receives direction from other technicians or chemists on specialized or complex issues.
- Performs basic calculations to prepare, perform, and conclude samples.
- Performs basic technical tests and analyses based on formulas and project requirements; tasks are more standard and require limited judgment within established guidelines.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Prepares basic samples, materials, equipment, and other required tools for laboratory tests or development.
- Performs coating spray application.
Requirements:
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of basic math skills
- Computer knowledge for basic inputting, communication, and data analysis
- Ability to learn software used in lab.
- Ability to complete work in a timely manner.
- Must pay attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and work with a team.
- Desired Skills: Microsoft Office
