Lab Technician
Location: Onsite, Boston, MA 02127
Job Type: Full-Time Contract (W2)
Pay: $25.00–$31.00/hour (Final pay is based on experience, skills, and internal equity.)
We are seeking a detail-oriented Lab Technician to support our client’s chemical and physical testing for R&D, quality control, and environmental compliance. This role requires hands-on experience with laboratory equipment, strong analytical skills, and adherence to strict safety and documentation standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform qualitative/quantitative testing of solids, liquids, and gases
- Receive, label, and analyze biological and chemical samples (blood, tissue, toxic, etc.)
- Execute experiments, interpret data, and report findings
- Operate and maintain lab instruments and testing equipment
- Record accurate data in paper/electronic systems
- Manage chemicals, fluids, and compressed gases safely
- Support inventory, supply ordering, and lab organization
- Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory guidelines
Qualifications:
- Degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Knowledge of laboratory techniques, materials, and instrumentation
- Experience operating testing equipment
- Solid data analysis and reporting skills
- Excellent communication and coordination
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Proactive problem-solving and equipment operation experience

- Handling small, intricate components
