PGS Worldwide is actively seeking a skilled Quality Inspector to support an industry-leading aerospace and defense project in Fort Walton Beach, FL. In this role, you will inspect complex electronic assemblies, harnesses, cables, and circuit card assemblies to ensure they meet rigorous industry and customer standards. This is a full-time opportunity for a detail-oriented professional looking to make an impact in a mission-critical manufacturing environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in quality control, inspection, or a related field

  • Proven experience inspecting electronic/electrical assemblies, cables, harnesses, SMT, and through-hole circuit card assemblies

  • Strong understanding of ISO 9001, AS9100, or equivalent quality standards

  • Able to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications

  • Experience using microscopes, eye loupes, and other magnification tools

  • Familiarity with measuring devices and electronic testing equipment

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • IPC-610 and J-STD-001 certification strongly preferred

  • IPC-620 and IPC-610 Instructor Certifications are a plus

  • Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma knowledge

  • 5+ years of experience in electronics assembly and inspection

  • Associate's degree in a technical field (engineering, quality, or electronics)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform in-process and final visual inspection of electronic assemblies and components

  • Use predetermined methods, setups, and specifications to assess product quality

  • Accept, reject, or rework defective or non-compliant units

  • Interpret and apply BAE, customer, and regulatory standards in all inspections

  • Document inspection results and support continuous improvement efforts

  • Work in a fast-paced, safety-conscious production environment
