Recovery Worker
Recovery Worker – Substance Misuse Service (PR1) Rate: £18.14 – £20.62 per hour (PAYE excl.) / £20.15 – £23 per hour (Umbrella/Ltd)
Location: PR1
Contract: 2?month initial contract with strong potential to extend or move permanent
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (Monday–Friday)

The Role – Key Responsibilities As a Recovery Worker, you will provide structured, person?centred support to individuals from the moment they enter the service. Your duties will include:
Completing comprehensive assessments for service users
Supporting individuals throughout the full recovery pathway, from point of entry through to discharge
Undertaking screenings, assessments, and developing effective Recovery Plans
Delivering 1:1 interventions tailored to individual needs
Managing a caseload using effective key?working approaches
Developing and reviewing Care Plans in collaboration with multi?disciplinary teams
Providing health and wellbeing support related to Substance Misuse
Promoting motivation, harm reduction, and long?term recovery strategiesRequirements To be successful in this role, you should have:
Previous experience working within the Substance Misuse or Recovery field
Strong understanding of issues relating to drug and alcohol addiction
Experience in Key Working, Care Planning, and caseload management
Ability to engage individuals with complex needs
