Accountabilities
The successful candidate will maintain and expand the cell repository that will include routine scale-up of cultures, sample preparation for QC experiments (mycoplasma, MAP, C.Bovis, and STR test), distribution of the banked cells/vials across the organization, and characterization of new cell lines.
The successful candidate will show willingness, adaptability, and capability to perform multi-task and experience of large-scale sample management. Work closely with lab management, facilities, Lab Operations, Discovery Operations, CROs and EHS, communicate and coordinate cell bank and tissue culture-related activities
The successful candidate will have a wide range of immuno-oncology, molecular, and cellular biology techniques including mammalian cell culture, cell-based proliferation/viability assays. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills are essential.
Candidates must have basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Excellent oral and written communication skills are required. Familiarity with the Automation Cryogenic Storage System for Sample Management is a plus.
Dimensions and Aspects
Bachelor’s degree with ?2 years relevant experience in cell immunology, protein/antibody science, molecular biology, or equivalent relevant work experience with strong knowledge of cell biology, immuno-oncology, and cell therapy.
Extensive experience in mammalian cells culture, including the application of aseptic techniques for media compounding, passaging, maintenance, and cryopreservation of cell cultures.
Strong organization skills, and a track record of large-scale sample management. Proficient in analyzing scientific datasets and have experience with electronic document management systems, cell bank work presentation, and troubleshooting.
Basic immuno-oncology, cancer biology skills are required, advanced skills are highly desired.
Preparation and tracking of test samples for QC experiments (mycoplasma, STR, cell viability test, etc.),
Experience in a cGMP environment and knowledge of large-scale cell culture and media preparation would be preferred.
Responsibilities include preparation, filling in weekly cell requests, tracking cell banks for release testing and stability testing, authoring SOPs, technical reports, CoAs, and regulatory documents.
Capable of working independently to solve scientific questions.

Excellence in writing and oral communication skills to effectively coordinate with other research teams.
